Covideo: Hi David! Can you tell me a little bit about yourself, your current position, and how you’re utilizing video in that role?
David Ruszczyk: Well, a little bit about me is that I’m a salesperson! I have clients nationwide that are in the Mortgage and Real Estate industries. So, how I’m leveraging Covideo is that I teach them how to grow their business and use Covideo as a tool for them. Everybody gets excited about using videos, but what they don’t know how to do is that they don’t know what content to put on there, so I’m just telling them, “Hey, send a video out every Friday at 3:30 or 4:30.” They need to be told what to do.
Covideo: Great! So, what do you like about Covideo?
David: It’s value-add benefit tool for me to provide my clients.
Covideo: Can you tell me about a specific instance when you used Covideo that you felt was particularly successful?
David Ruszczyk: After working with a company’s senior executive, I always send videos out thanking them for the conversation. They enjoy it because they got the opportunity to put a face with the name. Otherwise, they would receive just an email with words. So, it allows me to come to life.

Covideo: You have told me a little bit about how you’re currently using video. So, what are your plans for utilizing Covideo in the future?
David: I tell my clients that they need to be on it because they need to be separating themselves from their competition. I don’t use it a whole lot, personally; my job is to instruct my clients on what to do. So, my plan is to continue to guide people, to grow my business, and to help my clients grow.
Covideo: What would you recommend for business professionals exploring video as a communication tool?
David Ruszczyk: Either you’re going to be like the the the carriage company at the turn of the century and stay behind in the times, or you’re going to be like Henry Ford and innovate. That is why you need to be using video.
